The Formula SAE team of Wolfpack Motorsports is currently relaxing after its first day at the Formula SAE Michigan 2011 Event. Despite forgetting to pack a few small items (such as the joints for the tent and the projector), the team is prepared for a successful event.

The car is prepared for tech; however, the tech inspectors were not able to reach the team's slot in time before the track closed today. On a good note, the car weighed in at 422 lbs with 51% Left and 47% Front weight distributions. We plan to tech the first thing in the morning. Our Design presentation is scheduled for 10:30 AM and after a minor design event overhaul by the organizers, we feel confident that we will score major points in Design.

The media gallery has been updated with some final construction pictures and pictures from the trip and the first day at competition. Keep checking back for updates to the website and the media gallery.

As always, thanks for your support,

Michael Lyons

Please stop by the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering building, EB3, on Centennial Campus and check out our display on the 3rd floor beside the main office. Currently we are displaying the 2000 Formula car and we just printed some new posters about our club and cars and posted them above the 2000 Formula Car. Check out the Poster Links below:

Welcome to the new wolfpackmotorsports.com.

The new format will allow Wolfpack Motorsports to better stay in touch with alumni and members. New features include a blog to make updates easier and a forum for alumni to give feedback.

I'd like to start by thanking everyone who purchased a T-Shirt last year. The money we raised selling the shirts helped us enormously in our journey to competition. The start of a new school year signals the start of a new Wolfpack Motorsports season, and the process of raising money starts over again. For this years season we have a completely new T-shirt design unlike any other we have made in the past. The shirts will sell for the usual $20 dollars a piece and are available in sizes Small through 3XL. But, size is not the only choice to make this year, the shirts will be available in either a Red background or a White background. Please take a moment to view the two T-shirts below. If you are interested in purchasing a shirt please contact Chris at ccsturgi@ncsu.edu, please enter "WM Shirt" in the subject field and include the color, size and number of shirts you want to purchase. Chris will get back to you with a confirmation and information on payment. The shirts should arrive by the end of September and we will start giving them out to those who ordered them at this time. Please pay when you pick up your shirt. If you are ordering a T-shirt and would like to have it shipped to you, please make sure to include your shipping address in the email to Chris, and he will tell you where to mail your check.
